Who would have thought?

Okay, so life does not always work out the way you plan.... Let's review my criteria for where we want to live -
- within a days drive (less than 10 hours of either Salt Lake or Rexburg)- nope
- Family friendly - yes
- small town feel - some places
- safe - some places
- good schools- see previous two comments
- Not too hot - sizzling in the summer
(though I realize, I am not likely to find this in AZ) - big clue
- Clean air with nice scenery for outdoor activities - some days the air is clean and the scenery is lovely if you like palm trees, cactus, and small mountains

That's right we are headed to PHOENIX - I never would have predicted this, but Fisher found a great clinic that offers almost exactly what he is looking for, so we couldn't say no.

I am happy with our decision. Phoenix is actually much prettier than I remembered, especially in the established places where trees have been planted. And the winter weather is beautiful.

So here we go off to another adventure!

Congratulations! You must be so happy to finally know where you are going and I'm so glad Fisher found a place he feels good about. We'll miss you, though.

It has definitely been to long since we have spoken. Congratulations to you! I'm happy that the job worked out. How long until you go? We need at least one more playdate!

How exciting! I'm just glad you love Salt Lake enough and have family here that you'll come back to visit once in a while because I'll miss you. You always make me smile, friend!

Yippee for becoming Real People! Considering that almost all our best friends either came from or ended up in Arizona, I think you'll have a great time in Phoenix. Congrats!

AZ isn't that bad. I played basketball there for two years and loved it. I lived in Prescott...which is always about 15-20 degrees cooler than Phoenix year round, but a ton of our games were in Phoenix and I actually loved it. If we ended up there, I wouldn't be too sad. Good luck!
