It's growing on me...

Whenever people ask me how I like Arizona, my reply is, "I like it more than I thought I would." This is true...but I am finding that I am continually liking it more than I think I will. Sure, I miss my family and "normal" seasons but even though I complain about a winter without snow...70 degrees is lovely. I usually get the "January blues" and as I was falling asleep last night, I realized that they haven't hit yet... I guess sunshine is good for me.

But, what really makes me happy to be here are the wonderful people I have met. Particularly at church - they are just simple, salt of the earth people, trying to raise families and do good. They remind me of the friends that I left behind in Salt Lake and Washington DC and Idaho. It's good to have friends.

Elaine-

I miss you thanks for commenting on my blog! Your girls are absolutely adorable. I am glad you are liking/loving Arizona! What I would give for sunny and 70 degree weather right now. It's been rainy and in the 30ties here in Spokane. That is fun that you were able to surprise your mom and family. Well take care-

I'm so glad Elaine. I wish we were having sunshine and clear skies. Phoenix sounds completely heavenly right now.

I found your blog! Now I can stock you via the web. I'm glad to hear you're liking it. I am going through some of the same adjustments too. There is good anywhere you go as long as you're looking for it. Cute blog. I will now be following you.

I really hope that the Washington DC was my shout out. :-) At least that is what I'm going to tell myself.

Glad you are liking AZ
