Curly has taken a 180 degree turn this year on her feelings toward soccer. Instead of tears and tantrums before games, she is up and ready to go before the crack of dawn. She even scored her first two goals ever at her first game! At the next game she scored again... but then while she was playing goalie the other team scored...twice. It might be because she was doing gymnastics on the goal post :) After the game, she confessed that she does not like playing goalie
This week Curly also decided that is was time to get a haircut. I suggested she donate it, thinking that even if we cut ten inches it would still be shoulder length. At first she refused, then out of the blue at dinner, she said "I want to donate my hair. Can we cut it tonight?" So we did.
| Getting ready. I just noticed that she is reading Rapunzel - ha ha! |

So cute! I am impressed she was willing to do it. I have donated my hair twice to locks of love, and whenever I regret cutting it short I just remember it went to a good cause. Tell her I'm proud of her. :)
good for her! She looks beautiful.
Oh! All her long gorgeous red hair gone! She looks totally darling with it short, though.
Beautiful! Though you may need to change her name. I don't see anymore curls on Curly.
I agree with the other comments - she is beautiful! But I am missing the curls?! Does her hair still curl on its own? Love the short hair though - am thinking about chopping mine off again that short. Great job!
Curly looks very cute, but I miss that long hair. Maybe when she is older she will want to grow it back. I bet it is so nice for you not to have to come in and brand it each night.
Way to go on the soccer field.
No way! I can't believe you did it, Lainey! She is darling either way. It makes her look way too grown up. :) And how special for her to KNOW where her lovely curly locks will be going.
Audrey scored more than twice! What a sweet donation and she is still a cutie pie!
